Our Professional Diploma
The College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy South Africa offers a diploma qualification with 8 Modules. There is support and Teaching clinics throughout the course between the Modules 1 to 8.
Post Graduate Teaching Clinics and Modules are also taught to qualified therapists to deepen skills and widen the field. This is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and create networks. Post Graduate modules taught by Justine Hunt of various topics are held throughout South Africa intermittently so please check the Upcoming Course dates for these wonderful learning opportunities. What is Cranio-Sacral Therapy?
Cranio-sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands on healing modality which focuses on optimising the alignment and function of the central nervous system. The practitioner. through light touch, is able to feel compressions and asymmetrical pulls of the cranial plates and underlying membrane system. By releasing these restrictions, we allow free flow of the cerebrospinal fluid and bring the whole system back into balance and symmetry with optimal function.
CST aims to enhance overall wellness by addressing both physical and emotional conditions and support the body's innate healing ability. This holistic therapy due to its gentle yet powerful approach, is suitable for all ages and offers relief for a wide range of health issues.
About Justine Hunt
Justine Hunt (HPCSA, HCPCUK, SASP, CSTASA) is a Senior Physiotherapist, Cranio-Sacral therapist and Pilates Instructor.
After her BSC. Physiotherapy degree from University of Witwatersrand 2002, she gained her diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London (July, 2006) and has been integrating these skills with musculo-skeletal, paediatric, neurology, orthopaedic and sport rehabilitation in her private practice. As a result of her own pregnancy and empowering natural water birthing experience, Justine loves working with babies and children as well as empowering pregnant women during their ant-natal preparation.
Justine has been teaching undergraduate Cranio-Sacral Therapy for 5 years and was the Education officer for the Cranio-Sacral Therapy Association of South Africa for several years and has presented many television interviews locally and internationally.
Justine is very passionate about the deeply powerful and transformative influence Cranio-Sacral Therapy offers. She also teaches Anatomy and Physiology Cranio- Sacral courses and Post-graduate training .
